The Copernicus Training and Information Session to be held on 17 April 2018 in Sofia, Bulgaria, is part of a series of national Copernicus events. The event is being jointly organised by the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the European Commission after identifying the areas of interests and the capacity for development of the Bulgarian stakeholders. The event aims to promote awareness of the many uses of Copernicus data and information, while providing the opportunity for hands on demonstrations and basic training regarding:
The Copernicus Training and Information Session targets both Copernicus “intermediate” end users (technical) and end user communities (non-technical). For more information, please refer to the draft Agenda.
These events are open and free to registered participants. Registration is closed.

TravelSofia international airport is located approx. 10 km from the city centre. Sofia Metro Line 1 connects Sofia Airport to the city centre. The journey lasts for approximately 18 min. Bus routes 84 and 184 connect the city centre (Gen. Gurko Str.) with the airport. The journey time from the first to the final stops of 84 and 184 bus routes is approximately 45 min. on weekdays, and 35 min. at weekends/holidays.
